This is the second of two consecutive nights in Glasgow to close off the UK tour.
Brian has a bit of trouble getting his guitar into the drop-D tuning during the opening moments of what ends up being a great version of The Prophet's Song. In the middle section, Freddie references Death On Two Legs (the first known instance) as well as a bit of Frère Jacques, which works quite well with the delay. Freddie would do this a few times throughout the tour.
Freddie, after Stone Cold Crazy: "We're gonna do some rock and roll in a minute, real rock and roll. But right now we'd like to do something from our very first album. Which one would you like?" Most people shout for Liar. "Liar, we'll do that." He also acknowledges people shouting for Keep Yourself Alive, but then he says, "Right now, let me see if you recognize this little number," after which he starts to play the piano intro of Doing All Right.
A fan who attended (and taped) the show recalls at one point (perhaps in Liar) Freddie was "doing arm and leg dramatics in sync with the chords and fell off the drum platform right in front of Roger Taylor. Momentary embarrassment! But he looked up, being on the floor of the Apollo, and just grinned a big cheeser as if to say 'well, the roof caved in there, eh?'"
In 2011 during a TV interview, Brian and Roger would express fond memories of their gigs at the Apollo. Roger Taylor added, "Can the guy who pinched my cymbals about 35 years ago please give them back?"

Ogre Battle [cut], Sweet Lady, White Queen, Flick Of The Wrist, Bohemian Rhapsody (verses), Killer Queen, The March Of The Black Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody (reprise), Bring Back That Leroy Brown, Brighton Rock, The Prophet's Song [cut], Stone Cold Crazy [cut], Doing All Right, Keep Yourself Alive, Seven Seas Of Rhye, Liar [cut], In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited, Now I'm Here [cut]
This is a pretty poor recording from Glasgow, even though it is a copy of the master tape. The speed sometimes fluctuates after the taper paused the tape, but in the end, speed correction shaves 8 minutes off the recording. Keep Yourself Alive and Seven Seas Of Rhye are horribly distorted. The bit of Son And Daughter is cut for the tape flip, and the last few minutes of Liar are missing as well. In addition to the larger cuts listed, there are plenty of small cuts throughout the recording.
Any recording labeled as this show appearing to be complete is most likely a fake, as the only known genuine recording is missing parts of the beginning and end of the show, as well as the bit of Son And Daughter after the Brighton Rock guitar solo.
